After a few ins, outs and maybes, Sofajunkies are playing again!
Marcus McInerney - Keyboards, Vocals, Bass
Rae Yaldren - Main Vocals, Guitar
Tom Davenport - Drums, Vocals
Chris Powell - Bass, Keyboards, Backing Vocals
This lineup, featuring a guest guitarist called Tom Townshend, is playing at 3pm at Coastival (Spa Vitadome), Scarborough February 19th 2011.
After the gig, I (Chris) will be reverting to just bass once I've learned Rae's two new songs we're featuring in our set list & Marcus to keys and vocals. We've only practiced together a few times & we've done a few open mic sessions in town but it's coming together pretty good...
We also have enough new material (and some Marcus & I wrote last year) to begin work on a new album... Stay tuned! Will try and post pictures but most of the updates are and will be on our Facebook page.
This could well be what I'll dub "Life After ChillinBuzz"

Present line-up (subject to change):
Marcus - synth/vox.
Craig - bass.
Tom - drums/bvox.
James - guitar.
Chris - sampler/synth/bvox.
Beached Festival gig not happening due to prior engagements involving the individual members. Marcus is currently relocating again so the line-up and short-term plan are entirely up in the air. Can't wait for the reformed group to practice though...

In the process of setting this page up for Marcus' band "Sofajunkies". Marcus himself is currently relocating and is building/using his studio over the coming weeks, so I've accepted the task of maintaining existing and creating new websites and pages.

P.S. I am not a musician in this band, just maintaining and updating the pages. Many of the pages haven't been updated in months, which I am going to get around to sorting out soon.
